“新工科”的人才培养目标是塑造具有较高人文素养，并在工程专业领域具备解决实际问题能力的复合型人才。在“新工科”背景下，将工程专业教育与人文素养提升有机结合，是理工类院校在人才培养领域实现高质量发展的重要抓手。目前，理工类院校推进“新工科”建设过程中普遍存在对人文素养教育的重视度不够、人文素养培育与专业教育的融合度不高，以及校园人文素养培育氛围不浓的问题，因此，应进一步加强“新工科”建设的顶层设计、营造全员育人的氛围、开展具有理工类院校特点的实践活动。

The talent cultivation goal of "Emerging Engineering Education" is to cultivate composite talents with high humanistic literacy and the ability to solve practical problems in the field of engineering. In the context of the "Emerging Engineering Education", the organic combination of engineering education and humanistic literacy improvement is an important lever for universities of science and technology to achieve high-quality development in the field of talent cultivation. At present, there are common problems in the process of promoting the construction of "Emerging Engineering Education" in universities of science and technology, such as insufficient emphasis on humanistic education, low integration of humanistic cultivation with professional education, and a weak atmosphere for humanistic cultivation on campus. Therefore, it is necessary to further strengthen the top-level design of "Emerging Engineering Education" construction, create an atmosphere of educating all staff, and carry out practical activities with the characteristics of universities of science and technology.
