科技英语自身的特点决定了科技英语的翻译必须遵循一定的原则。这篇文章以探寻科技英语的翻译原则为出发点,分别从科技信息和文章风格两方面入手,其中科技信息的传达又从对科技字词及术语的理解和句义的分析两方面进行探讨,阐述了如何保持译文与原文的高度统一问题。大量实例表明,忠实性是科技英语翻译必须遵循的原则。
Abstract：This article is designed to help readers become better EST translators.The characteristics of technological English require certain principles in technological English translation..With the aim of exploring the principles of translating technological English,this paper makes contributions on how to achieve the unity of the source text and the target text from the respect of the content and the style.This paper also makes a further exploration on the content communication from the term understanding and sentence analysis.All the examples attached in the paper show that technological English translation must abide by the principle of faithfulness.
