通过对一些翻译现象进行客观、全面地分析,本文认为,英汉翻译中意象发生变异往往可以从源语文化与译语文化的相对地位、译者的诗学观、意识形态、翻译的目的、词义的演变与词语的文化内涵差异、语篇的整体和谐等方面找到合理的原因。
Abstract：On the basis of an objective and comprehensive description of some translation phenomena between Chinese and English,this paper claims that such elements as the relative position between the source language and the target language,translator's poetics,ideology, purpose(s)of translation,change of meaning and the discrepancy of connotations of words and coherence of context,etc.play a role in the deviation of image(s)in translation.
