IEEE 802.16e中的QC-LDPC码分析

摘要:

QC-LDPC码(准循环低密度奇偶校验码)是一个十分重要的LDPC码研究分支。QC-LDPC码是一类结构化的LDPC码,其校验矩阵H采用准循环方式构造。IEEE 802.16e协议中给出了一种具有准循环特性的监督矩阵,具有实现复杂度低的特点,易于硬件实现。本文主要介绍了协议中的QC-LDPC码的编码过程,并给出了各种译码算法的译码性能。仿真表明,对于高速率LDPC码的最小和(MS)算法和对数域的置信传播(Log-BP)算法的性能相比有约0.5dB损失,但归一化最小和(NMS)算法和匹配行重量的最小和(Rwm-MS)算法的性能与Log-BP算法性能很相近,且复杂度大大降低。

Abstract:

Quasi Cyclic Low Density Parity Check(QC-LDPC) code is an important branch of LDPC code research.It is a kind of constructed LDPC code with check matrix H constructed by quasi cyclic method.IEEE 802.16e proposes a parity check matrix with quasi cyclic character which makes the encoding and hardware easy to be implemented.This article will mainly introduce the encoding process and analyze the decoding performance of various decoding algorithms.Simulations show that Min-Sum(MS) algorithm compares to the Log-BP performance has approximately 0.5dB loss for high-speed rate coding.And the performance of Normalized Min-Sum(NMS) and Row Weight Matched Min-Sum(Rwm-MS) with relatively low complexity is nearly the same as that of Log-BP algorithm.
